A Recycling Partnership Designed Around Your Store
Pink Recycling Cooperative works with participating distributors, retailers, and convenience stores to support applicable California beverage container recycling and redemption requirements while expanding convenient recycling access for customers and communities.
Because every location is different, we evaluate each participating store individually and identify solutions aligned with its available space, operational needs, consumer traffic, and surrounding community.
How It Works
Participation begins with a Letter of Intent or Cooperative Membership Agreement, as applicable. This initial stage establishes the relationship and allows Pink Recycling Cooperative to coordinate guidance, operational planning, and available recovery solutions with the participating business.
Step 1 - Enrollment and Participation
After enrollment, Pink Recycling Cooperative evaluates the participating location and the community it serves. The assessment may consider:
• Store location and available space
• Consumer traffic and accessibility
• Operational needs
• Characteristics of the surrounding community
• Opportunities for community engagement
The findings help identify the solution or combination of solutions most appropriate for the location.
Step 2 - Customized Store Assessment
Based on the assessment and service availability, Pink Recycling Cooperative may coordinate one or more solutions suited to the participating location.
Available options may include:
• Eco3Go mobile recycling
• Bag Drop Systems
• Automated Collection Sites
• Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs)
• Fixed Recycling Kiosks
• Community Recycling Events
• Green Store initiatives
Implementation may also include operational coordination, consumer information, and community engagement support.
